Life lessons and practical tidbits that we, dad and mom, have learned along the way or we wished we could've heard growing up. We write this to you, Princess Adrianna, and to your future siblings, with love, kisses, smacks, and a piece of chocolate raspberry truffle cheesecake.

#27 Voicemail
When your phone rings and you don't recognize the number or the caller ID, just let it go to the voicemail. It's a lot easier to listen to voicemail messages and sort out the important ones from the unnecessary ones. If it's important, the caller will leave a message or try to call back again. If they didn't leave a message, it must not be important. Imagine if ten people call you in a day, and only one of those ten is an important one. If you spend an average of three minutes with each one of them, that's half hour of your life wasted talking to strangers who dialed the wrong number or telemarketers. On the other hand, if it's from your immediate family members, then you better pick up that phone or we might come over.
