Honey, sooner or later, you will have to make these tough decisions on certain controversial issues, like abortion. Not many people would talk about this in the public but when it is brought up, know that even your closest friends may have the opposite stance on abortion. We love you regardless of what you choose.
Just so that you know what we strongly believe in. We all know the Bible clearly says in Exodus 20, that you shall not murder, especially not innocent blood (Psalm 106). Some folks think unborn babies are not alive so it is permissible to do it. Psalm 139:13 says, "Thou didst form my inward parts, Thou didst knit me together in my mother's womb." J. Piper wrote, "...God is knitting a human being in his own image, unlike any other creature in the universe. Some people made the assumption, for their own peace of mind, that these babies will go straight to heaven or be given an adult life in resurrection. Yet if you read Romans 3:8, "Shall we do evil that good may come?" This is aside from another controversial issue of "what happen when we die," which mom and dad will write about in this blog / book one of these days. Another aspect that many people don't realize is that after abortion, these women will suffer lifelong physical and even psychological problems that are too many and too horrible to mention here. Our most favorite verse in this topic is in Mark 9:36-37, "...whoever receives one such child in My name receives Me; and whoever receives Me, receives not Me but Him who sent Me"
