Life lessons and practical tidbits that we, dad and mom, have learned along the way or we wished we could've heard growing up. We write this to you, Princess Adrianna, and to your future siblings, with love, kisses, smacks, and a piece of chocolate raspberry truffle cheesecake.

#47 Listen to Body Language
This is a skill that you kinda have to develop on your own. Don't think we are perfect with this skill either. We know of a few people who lacked this skill significantly. The most common situation we have encountered in the past was when some people don't understand that it's time to leave or end the conversation. Some people might talk and talk and let's say you have to do something else and you try to politely and subtly "tell" this person that it's time to leave by acting restless, walking back and forth in front of them, holding your wrist with the watch up three inches away from your popping eyeballs, but somehow they just keep smiling at you and keep talking. Make sure you have backups for situations like this. Have a friend interrupt and ask you to come with her or have your friend call your phone so you can have an excuse to pick up the phone and end the conversation.
