Life lessons and practical tidbits that we, dad and mom, have learned along the way or we wished we could've heard growing up. We write this to you, Princess Adrianna, and to your future siblings, with love, kisses, smacks, and a piece of chocolate raspberry truffle cheesecake.

#26 Library
You know this already because this was your favorite destination every Thursday or Friday from the time you were a few months old. Visit your local library regularly. They have everything from movies, books (d'uh?), CDs, children's books, conference rooms, audio-visual rooms, and more. Most things are free or with a very low fee. Take advantage of these things. Come to think of it, your mom and I probably saved at least $100 bucks a year by checking out newly-released movies and great books from our local library. Too cool.

#9 Must Read Books
You have already known "Goodnight Moon" by Margaret Wise Brown since you were not even two years old. You also knew Max Lucado's Hermie the Caterpillar really well. Also Dr. Seuss' books and the Big Red Barn. You always finished mommy's sentences when she was reading the book outloud to you. In most cases mom already had these books memorized as well. During our frequent road trips, we all would be chanting the words of these books for fun.
There are other books you should read while growing up too. These ten are just the few that we can think of. There will be more to come when we can think of their names :).
