...is when it's cold, rainy, and perhaps even with occasional thunders outside. Get a good sweater on, slip under the warm blanket (if the blanket's too cold, throw it in the dryer for a few minutes) and doze off to sleep. Wake up and get a good warm hot chocolate or apple cider.
Add a cup of snuggle. That's a perfect afternoon nap.
Life lessons and practical tidbits that we, dad and mom, have learned along the way or we wished we could've heard growing up. We write this to you, Princess Adrianna, and to your future siblings, with love, kisses, smacks, and a piece of chocolate raspberry truffle cheesecake.

#3 Sleep Good
Not getting enough sleep translates to decreased serotonin (a.k.a. happy hormone), increased cortisol level (a.k.a. bad/stress/inflammatory/aging hormone), more stress, more heart issues, lack of focus, poor brain performances, crabby attitude, etc.
In contrast, getting enough sleep allows your body to do the necessary cellular repair, improved leptin hormone production (satiety hormone which obese people deprived of), improved heart and brain performances, and more. Even more important is to sleep in the dark. Being exposed to light inhibits the production of melatonin, a hormone that makes you sleepy and also helps fight cancer.
If you can, which you must, take a nap. Oh you'd love it! Just 15-30 minutes of power nap. It will refreshes you! If you do it longer than this, you will probably wake up tired and crabby. :)
