Life lessons and practical tidbits that we, dad and mom, have learned along the way or we wished we could've heard growing up. We write this to you, Princess Adrianna, and to your future siblings, with love, kisses, smacks, and a piece of chocolate raspberry truffle cheesecake.

#64 Always Tip Generously
If you are at a restaurants, tip usually depends on how many people are in your party, what kind of restaurant it is (mom and pop vs. upscale), and what kind of quality service you received. 10-15% is standard. If you are really satisfied with the service and place, tip at least 20%. Remember these people made a living on tips. Coat check attendants, restroom attendants or bartenders vary based on the class of the establishment. Sometimes we would tip them ahead of time to ensure quality service. If you remember a particular server, you can always request for that server, if s/he is available. That usually leads to better experience. This is why cruise companies assign the same server(s) to the same people for the entire trip, to develop relationship and to increase tip amount.
