#76 Know CPR and Heimlich Real Well

Someday, it's possible that your spouse, your child, or your own parent may need one.  It's life-saving and that way you reduce the chance of ever regretting the fact that you have lost someone that you could have saved.

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) helps people who are in cardiac arrest, to restore partial blood flow of oxygenated blood to the brain and to the heart to delay tissue death and prevent brain damage.  Heimlich maneuver is done for people who are choking by performing quick strong abdominal thrust toward the front bottom of the diaphragm to exert pressure to the lungs in hope of expelling any object that got lodged in the breathing pipe (trachea).

Get the certification at your local hospital on a regular basis.  It's a priceless skill and privilege to know these two life-savings methods and be able to use them to save others.
